As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

UK plays an important role in downsizing standards for Asylum seekers?
It is really difficult to find consensus with all the other EU members.
Does anyone of you know, that Germany seems to be the only country where you have not just papers for your car (Fahrzeugschein) but also the "Fahrzeugbrief" as final proof of ownership?
Does anyone of you realize that in whole Europe now there will be new laws valid, how such car papers have to look?
And - does anyone of you - of us - have the slightest idea, what an effort was needed to find a fucking solution, everyone could live with??
And we're talking about such heartfelt stuff like car-documents.
So, can we imagine how full of problems it must be to find a comon solution in a topic as sensitive and difficult as Asylum rights. I guess, everyone sees the reason why for all the european member-countries there should valid be the same laws and reglementations when it comes to Asylum seekers and such stuff. But why do we have to accept the - lower? - standards of countries like the UK and Germany? Why can't we change to a more asylum-friendly politics? It's not as if asylum seekers were flooding uns right now, the numbers are decreasing from year to year.
I can understand every person who wants to live in a state where children don't die at the age of five on diarrhoe, where people get older that 40 and where even poor people don't have to starve. If I were living under worse circumstances than that, I'd do the same. Not to use the old left reason, that most of the so called third world countries are that poor because of the so called first world.
