As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

Pensions sink
Oh really? I mean, how come?
Okay - we have more older people and less younger folks.
Okay - we have contantly decreasing numbers of newborns.
Okay - we have a lot of unemployed for the last 10 years and no idea, how to handle them.

But pensions? Why do they have to sink, I did pay for it month by month.

Be serious, please! As I heard last Saturday: Has anyone, besides Norbert Blüm (Die Renten... sind sischer), really believed that people of my age (born 68) will get any pensions paid by the state? I beg your pardon! I remember saying from my earliest youth that I will have to save money for my own pensions since state won't give me any. So - did anyone really believe, they were safe?

And now? Now we're punishing the government for telling us the truth. Great move!
I mean, I could work with wanting to punish them for not having made a better plan the last 20 years.
I could live with punishing them for trying too much and doing too little, but punishing them for telling the truth?
Folks, that's ridiculous.
