Lilli Marleen

Lillis place for rants and musing about life, universe and the whole rest. Mostly left, mostly sarcastic, sometimes in german, sometimes in Lilli-english.

As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

Hello 2004!
So that's how 2004 feels? Okay.
When it was time for dinner, Wondergirl was completely asleep in our bed. She never sleeps in our bed but we had a hard walk to the next playground today and she was just completely tired.
So we started eating with letting her sleep. But she wouldn't be our daughter if she would not come up by the smell of food, so at some point, she was standing on the table and demanding her share. Of course she got it.
We then decieded to let her awake til midnoght to have the fireworks with her.
It was hilarious! While she was still a bit unsecure when we carried her downstairs, she had lots of fun when we were down on the street where dozens of people were celebrating and having fireworks burned.
And Wondergirl got attention en masse. Many people stopped by to wish her a New Year and while Mr. Lilli and I had fun watching the fireworks, Wondergirl was flirting with this guy who was kneeling next to her and talking to her. He was so about 17, 18 years old but well, if he can wait....
When we got back home at half past midnight, Wondergirl feel asleep the second her head touched the bed. I hope she won't get up too early next morning to give us a chance to sleep a bit.
