Lillis place for rants and musing about life, universe and the whole rest. Mostly left, mostly sarcastic, sometimes in german, sometimes in Lilli-english.

As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

Well, I know that one can get a wrong perception of the US when just listening to the biggest mouths and only rightie Bloggers who seem to be, at least where I hang out, in the majority.
But the more I like polls and that to see how "the average" American and not the avergae blogging American or the average rightie American or the average military-fanatic american does this election want to go.
And no - save your finger a hectical click on my comments when all you want to tell me is that I do read the wrong polls. I know that seven polls show nine results. I also know that you can understand a poll when you know who made it and what his motivations are. Since I don't know that for all in the US, I just keep on smiling when I see polls I like.
Like the latest one from Newsweek over at yahoo!, where it's said that Bush's support dropped to 50% and that 52% don't want him to have a second term.
Leaves some hope for the US and the people.
