As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

Harald Schmidt Show stops
I've been there for two times, one time, I've been with him on the Couch and talked to him - or better he talked to the people and I sat by - but since it was produced here in Cologne it was fun for us to go there and watch it in the studio.
Schmidt has copied Letterman in many details, but I guess he's also pretty different.
I'd also not call him funniest German. He is funny. But not in this innocent use of the word, people have. He is more the bitter-funny type of guy who also allows himself in his show to make jokes about Foreigners (a big NoNo in Germany), about minorities and everybody. This was unique in Germany when he started it. The best was, his jokes mostly had a special class and were not just flat and tasteless like in other shows.
Harald Schmidt started together with Herbert Feuerstein and I think they were better when they were together.
Anyway, I'm sure we'll see him back earlier than we all think.
