As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

Who runs Great Britain?
Today I found a really funny post over at zogbyblog that didn't leave me with this mercyful knowing smile of the politic-superior (as we leftiest always are), but with a real grin:
Classification of The British Newspapers.

This from Derb, John Derbyshire, on The Corner.

A reader reminds me of this gem from the classic BritCom Yes, Prime Minister: Jim (Hacker, PM)-- The Mirror is read by the people who think that they run the country. The Times is read by the people who really do run the country. The Financial Times is read by the people who own the country. The Guardian is read by the people who think that they ought to be running the country. The Morning Star [the communist daily] is read by the people who think that another country ought to be running the country. And the Telegraph is read by the people who think that they already do. Sir Humphrey-- Pray tell, what of the readers of the Sun? Bernard-- They don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big t*ts.

Whoever this Jason Guy is who posted that, thank you, this one is really funny and could be brought over into german with just a little effort.
