As you might see soon, english is not my mothertongue. And since english speaking people are used to others stumble around in their language, I hope I don't make too much of an idiot of myself here. So - my deepest apologies adressed to the English Language for not worshipping her better.

Mc Carthy Protocols
When you discuss about the US in germany right now, you meet people who say pretty often that the actual situation reminds on the Mc Carthy time. There it were the communists who were declared enemie. If these people really were communists was not really of interest. The main point was that someone said they were commies. Just like at the burning of wise women. Does this make ring a bell near you? This sounds like the leftie-bashing many newspapers and internet-sources do nowadays. Well, just like with Mc Carthy, time will judge this George W. Bush and maybe in 30+ years we will be able to read some protocols about this war and all the circumstances, like we now can read about Mc Carthy. The german site, Heise, where I got this link from, also reports about newspapers like the Washington Times who seem to participate in this miserable game.
